## Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated IE Layout / Facility Planning Engineer to support Tainan Fab expansion projects. This role is responsible for planning and optimizing Fab/Sub-Fab, Metallization, Probe, and support spaces to enable future manufacturing growth and operational excellence.

The position involves end-to-end layout planning activities, including space modeling, tool siting, facility and AMHS integration, move-in/move-out planning, construction coordination, and space readiness management. We will work closely with Process, Facilities, Construction, and Operations teams to align capacity requirements, material flow, utility infrastructure, and project schedules while ensuring efficient project execution.

## Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Fab/Sub-Fab, Metallization, Probe, and support-space layout plans.
• Drive space planning management, and footprint optimization to support manufacturing expansion.
• Coordinate tool space preparations, relocation, and move-in/move-out activities across multiple stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Process, Facilities, Utilities, AMHS, Construction, and Operations teams to ensure project readiness and successful execution.
• Validate site conditions and space readiness through field verification and issue resolution.
• Support construction planning, facility integration, risk assessment, and change management activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and organizational standards throughout project execution.

## AI-Related Responsibilities

As part of Micron's digital transformation journey, this role is expected to leverage AI-enabled technologies to drive productivity and innovation.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools and insights to improve planning efficiency, quality, and decision-making while adhering to company policies, governance requirements, and ethical AI practices.
• Identify, pilot, and share AI-driven improvements that enhance layout planning, data management, analysis, and operational workflows.
• Apply digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to effectively leverage AI tools for research, data analysis, content generation, problem-solving, workflow automation, and business outcomes.
• Explore opportunities to integrate data analytics, automation, dashboards, and AI-enabled planning solutions into daily activities.
