- Expected Pay Range: $23/hr-$25/hr, non-exempt
- Bonus: This role may further qualify for supplemental compensation in the form of bonus and incentive programs, contingent upon achieving pre-established individual and company performance metrics.

Role Summary
The HR Coordinator helps create a smooth, welcoming, and organized experience for new hires and employees across the Van Drunen Family of Companies. This role supports preboarding, onboarding, New Hire Orientation, HR intake through Workday Help, I-9/E-Verify compliance, and day-to-day HR service needs. Success in this role comes from strong follow-through, attention to detail, bilingual communication, and a genuine commitment to making HR processes easier for employees and leaders.
What You’ll Do
- Support preboarding and onboarding by following up with new hires, answering questions, troubleshooting HRIS access, and confirming readiness before Day 1.
- Facilitate New Hire Orientation and help deliver a warm, consistent first-day experience that reflects our family-oriented culture.
- Coordinate I-9/E-Verify documentation and partner with HR and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure onboarding steps are completed accurately and on time.
- Own daily Workday Help administration by reviewing, categorizing, routing, tracking, and closing HR requests professionally and efficiently.
- Support employee experience initiatives, HR self-service resources, basic HRIS requests, and backup coverage for the HR front desk and Talent Acquisition Coordinator roles.
What You’ll Bring
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two or more years of experience in HR administration, HR operations, HRIS support, case management, customer service, or a detail-focused administrative role.
- Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish required.
- Strong organization, follow-through, confidentiality, and ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
- A warm, professional, and service-focused approach with comfort using Microsoft Office, HR systems, and ticketing tools.
