Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Licensed Patrol in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms or unusual activity. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare diagnostics facility, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, helping to maintain an orderly environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and report observations according to established procedures.
• Support a professional healthcare environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and escalating security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
