Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Hospital Emergency Response in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment for patients, visitors, and staff while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient-care areas, parking facilities, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
