We have an opportunity for a Digital Marketing Analyst to join their team of staff in the Business Development department.
This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
- You utilise Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to monitor, analyse and report on website performance, user behaviour and digital marketing effectiveness.
- You monitor website traffic, engagement, conversion rates and customer journeys to identify trends, opportunities and areas for optimisation.
- You ensure accurate tracking of digital activity through the implementation and maintenance of events, conversions and user properties.
- You conduct detailed analysis of digital marketing campaigns to evaluate effectiveness, return on investment (ROI) and commercial performance.
- You develop, maintain and enhance dashboards and automated reports using Power BI, Looker Studio and other reporting tools.
- You present meaningful performance data to stakeholders in a clear, engaging and commercially focused manner.
- You work closely with Marketing, IT and Digital teams to design, implement and maintain effective tracking strategies for new campaigns and digital initiatives.
- You remain up to date with developments in digital analytics, digital marketing technologies and industry best practice.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum of two years' experience in digital marketing analytics or a similar analytical role.
- Extensive experience using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including configuration of custom events, conversions and user properties.
- Proven experience analysing digital marketing campaigns and measuring return on investment (ROI).
- Strong understanding of Google Tag Manager and digital tracking technologies.
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles, customer journeys and website optimisation.
- Experience conducting A/B testing and website optimisation experiments.
- Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI and Looker Studio.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Office skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
