Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a State Site in Boston MA

Tuesday - Saturday 7 AM - 3 PM

Starting Pay is $23.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training 

Candidate is Required to Have 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience

As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment through professionalism, integrity, and teamwork while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, roadways, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, traffic-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observation of assigned areas, and timely reporting of suspicious behavior or conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
