Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Monitoring in Heath, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and respond to alarms and security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
