About the Job
As the Marketing Manager for Germany at OpenTable, you will define and execute our B2C and B2B growth strategy in Germany, with additional support across Austria and Switzerland. You will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness and customer acquisition through a highly localized approach. Serving as the primary voice for the German market, you will partner with global channel owners to ensure a unified, high-performing marketing strategy. Your efforts will directly empower hospitality businesses to thrive while connecting diners with exceptional culinary experiences.
Responsibilities
- Partner with regional marketing leadership and global channel owners to define and execute the B2C and B2B brand and performance marketing strategy for the region.
- Manage the full lifecycle of localized consumer content and campaigns, including organic social strategy, influencer programs, local media productions, local partnerships, and paid media campaigns to drive customer acquisition and engagement.
- Direct cross-channel marketing efforts with channel owners in areas like SEO, Email and Performance Marketing to ensure a unified, high-performing strategy.
- Drive targeted business-to-business initiatives, events, and local partnerships to expand market presence and strengthen the company's position in the regional hospitality sector.
- Establish testing strategies and leverage quantitative and qualitative data to track campaign performance, optimize tactics, and inform recommendations for internal stakeholders.
- Act as the key collaborator for the German market across sales, account management, public relations, and external agencies to ensure all deliverables meet brand guidelines and quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in brand, content, or digital marketing.
- Fluency in German and business-proficient English to work effectively within an international team.
- Proven track record of building and executing cohesive social media strategies across organic and paid formats to drive conversions.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the proven ability to leverage data, marketing platforms, and business intelligence tools to drive strategic decisions.
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional stakeholder management and complex project execution.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior marketing experience within the hospitality, lifestyle, or technology sectors.
- Deep understanding of the German restaurant industry and broader hospitality landscape.
- Demonstrated expertise in building cohesive brand partnership strategies across owned and sponsored formats to drive awareness in growth markets.
- Ability to leverage artificial intelligence platforms to maximize operational efficiency.
- Strong adaptability and self-motivation, with the ability to thrive in a highly dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The salary range for this Berlin (remote) located role is 70-75k€ basic.
In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for additional compensation and benefits in accordance with local law and company policy.
