REQ15176 Senior Manager, Supply Chain (Open)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Senior Manager, Supply Chain manages to plan, develop, execute and manage strategic sourcing initiatives for the supply chain functions specializing in procurement of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) and OS&E (Operating Supplies & Equipment) and/or marketing and promotions category. This includes procurement of products, materials, parts, supplies, equipment and services aiming at cost reduction and process improvement as well as managing vendor effectively; and to train, develop, mentor and assist subordinates in all of the
departments that fall within the supply chain process.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and executes strategies for supply chain functions to aggressively reduce cost of key supplies and services, reduces material lead times and inventory requirements and associated working capital needs
- Identifies needs and potential suppliers, soliciting bids, reviewing bids and selecting suppliers, negotiating and awarding contracts
- Creates integrated processes among Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and outside suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process
- Provides leadership to the Procurement Team, mentoring to staff and ensure all staffs are adequately trained
- Partners with other executives in Engineering, F&B, Hotel Operations, Entertainments, Marketing etc. to achieve company and functional goals
- Prepares, reviews, and renews trade agreements, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for price and acceptability of items
- Oversees all activities related to procurement of commodities, from intent to purchase through delivery
- Negotiates or supervises negotiation of complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services with suppliers and subcontractors
- Ensures subordinates and business units compliance with Supply Chain policies and procedures and company’s rules and regulations
- Establishes project procurement procedures to ensure deliverables meet the individual client and project requirements
- Manages changes proactively
- Manages responsible for appropriate executed procurement in terms of safety, compliance to rules and regulations, quality, schedule, and budget

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- At least 10 years’ experience in FF&E and OS&E and/or Marketing category procurement/ supply chain
- At least 8 years’ experience in a management role with project procurement management
- Experience preferably in hospitality, gaming, large restaurant chains and/or supermarket chains environments
- Extensive souring experience in procurement of IT category with global procurement experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in sourcing techniques to provide cost savings while maintaining quality
Education
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications, major in Business Administration or Supply Chain
- Recognized professional accreditation, CPM or CPSM
- Strong working knowledge of ERP and MRP systems
