Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will connect regional commercial priorities with global portfolio strategies and lead Product Managers across the region. 

• Translate crop strategies into clear short- and mid-term regional action plans. 

• Influence portfolio direction through close collaboration with Sales, Portfolio Management and Product Development. 

• Lead, coach and develop a regional Product Management team of 5 to 10 employees. 

• Drive alignment, continuous improvement and consistent ways of working across the region. 

Make a difference as Regional Product Manager 

As Regional Product Manager, you are responsible for maintaining an optimal regional variety portfolio for conventional and organic products. You ensure that regional priorities remain aligned with global portfolio strategies and that strategic plans are translated into practical commercial action. You will be responsible for: 

• Ensuring alignment with Portfolio Management strategies, processes and procedures; acting as an active member of the Regional Sales Management team; and maintaining strong alignment with Portfolio Managers and the Organic Portfolio Manager. 

• Translating crop strategic plans into short- and mid-term action plans for conventional and organic portfolios, and monitoring execution through strategic market plans and tactical plans. 

• Translating local plans into the regional scope and aligning global plans with regional priorities. In close collaboration with Subsidiary Sales Managers, strengthening the connection between Product Management and Product Development within each subsidiary. 

• Building an optimally performing team by leading, motivating, coaching and developing assigned team members. 

• Contributing to continuous improvement of operations, processes and working procedures, including CAPs, and providing strategic input and proposals to the Regional Sales Director. 

• Stimulating strong alignment and cooperation between Product Managers and the Global Portfolio Management team to harmonise the product and customer package and safeguard the interests of Enza Zaden as a whole. 
• Maintaining customer connections and using market dynamics and customer developments to inform regional portfolio decisions. 

What you bring as a future colleague 

You are a strategic and collaborative leader with a strong agricultural background and the ability to translate global portfolio direction into effective regional action. You combine analytical thinking with clear communication, build alignment across functions and countries, and create an environment in which Product Managers can perform and develop. 

In short, you: 

• hold a Master’s degree or equivalent university-level qualification, preferably in Agriculture or a related field; 

• have 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience in portfolio management, product management, commercial agriculture or a related field; 

• bring strong analytical skills and can convert market, customer and portfolio insights into strategic and tactical plans; 

• have proven leadership experience and the ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop a team of 5 to 10 employees; 

• communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with Regional Sales, Subsidiary Sales Managers, Product Managers and Global Portfolio Management; 

• can influence stakeholders and harmonise regional and global priorities; 

• Prepared for frequent domestic and regional business travel.
