About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Personal Lines Account Manager to join a growing insurance agency. This opportunity is ideal for an insurance professional who enjoys building client relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and helping individuals and families protect what matters most.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Personal Lines insurance, with the ability to assist with Commercial Lines accounts as needed. This position offers a competitive base salary, additional earning potential through commissions and bonuses, and the opportunity to grow within an established agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and service an assigned book of Personal Lines insurance accounts.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.

• Assist clients with policy renewals, endorsements, coverage changes, and general insurance inquiries.

• Review existing policies and identify opportunities to recommend additional coverage or improvements.

• Prepare insurance quotes, compare coverage options, and assist clients with new business opportunities.

• Work with insurance carriers to address client needs and resolve policy-related issues.

• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to support agency growth.

• Provide assistance with Commercial Lines accounts when needed.

• Maintain accurate client records and policy documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Personal Lines insurance, preferably within an independent insurance agency.

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license preferred.

• Familiarity with Personal Lines insurance products, coverages, and carrier guidelines.

• Commercial Lines insurance experience is a plus.

• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

• Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize daily responsibilities.

• Comfortable identifying sales opportunities and contributing to agency growth.

• Experience with agency management systems is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a fully onsite position, requiring candidates to work in the office five days per week. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available.
