Systems Administrator - Oracle EBS

Overview

Oracle EBS Systems Administrator Responsibilities

• Responsible for the technical configuration, maintenance, security, and day-to-day operation of the Oracle EBS (MilPDS/AFPROMS/any future cloud) 122 environments
• Focuses specifically on the Application Tier (concurrent managers, forms, web services) and the interaction between the application and the underlying database
• Understand Oracle and be able to write queries in Oracle SQL / PL/SQL scripts
• User and Access Management - Create and maintain user accounts, manage Oracle EBS Responsibilities, Profile Options, and Menu exclusions
• Concurrent Jobs Management - Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Concurrent Managers and Concurrent Queues
• Print Management - Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Product Delivery and Print Servers
• Coordinate with Oracle Single Sign On (SSO) Administrators and other DBAs for patching and EBS engagements
• Support weekly, monthly, quarterly patching's and any mission critical tasks beyond the normal duty hours

 

Oracle EBS Systems Administrator Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field 
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Security+ certification or equivalent required
• US Citizenship is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills using the English language
• Experience with Oracle EBS Applications and Administration
• Experience in UNIX/Oracle SQL, PL/SQL languages

 

Desired Qualifications

• Strong understanding and knowledge of Air Force Human Resource process
• Oracle certifications preferred

 

Required Clearances and Screenings

• MUST be able to pass a US Government background check
