Pricing Analyst

As a Pricing Operation Analyst Jr. supporting the Revenue Management N.A Team, you will be responsible for administering, extending, and terminating standard and nonstandard pricing. Tracks proposal preparation, price administration, and customer price analysis to ensure proper pricing is fulfilled in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Create and maintain price lists.
• Review and validate pricing requests and ensure they are aligned with guidelines.
• Responsible for pricing analysis.
• Communicate and help implement pricing changes with cross-functional teams.
• Identify, scope, and execute strategic price process improvement projects.
• Perform checks on potential channel conflicts and identify inconsistencies.
• Review and ensure pricing is maintained within contractual periods.
• Manage new product pricing (create and modify).
• Collaborate with cross-functional team on the annual price increase.
• Perform pricing audits.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Demonstrates complex problem resolution proficiency and the ability to identify/implement process and system enhancements.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Knowledge of data analysis, big excel files and metrcis
• Experience using Salesforce.com is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills, along with quantitative, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Microsoft Office suite
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization, exhibiting leadership qualities.
• Ability to critically review and improve initiative metrics.
