We are currently seeking a Data Capture Specialist to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. As a Data Capture Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently capturing data from various sources, ensuring the integrity and quality of the data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately capture data from various sources, including physical documents, electronic files, and online forms
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of captured data
• Identify and correct any errors or discrepancies in the data
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all data
• Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient data capture processes
• Communicate any issues or concerns with data to the appropriate parties
• Continuously improve data capture processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in data entry or data capture
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations is a plus

Contract Details:

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
