We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant Clerk to join our team at Msuez Uk in Durban, South Africa. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting department and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Perform general administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations is a plus
