We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant Clerk to join our team at Msuez Uk in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. As a Junior Accountant Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day accounting and financial tasks of the company. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes
• Processing and reconciling invoices and payments
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Preparing financial reports and statements
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Conducting financial analysis and identifying areas for cost savings
• Assisting with payroll processing
• Providing support for audits and tax preparation
• Other ad-hoc accounting tasks as assigned by the senior team members

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
