Description
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will support warehouse operations through shipping and receiving coordination, inventory control, reporting, carrier scheduling, and warehouse administration. You will maintain accurate inventory records, support warehouse systems and reporting processes, coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, and help ensure safe and efficient warehouse operations.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Perform production counts, cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory reconciliations, and variance reporting.
- Serve as the SAP subject matter expert by supporting system activities and training employees on SAP processes.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics by checking in trucks, scheduling carrier appointments through Oracle Transportation Management, and supporting loading and unloading operations.
- Prepare and maintain operational reports including finished goods reporting, dump reports, warehouse performance metrics, and inventory documentation.
- Manage receiving activities for parcel and freight deliveries and distribute materials to appropriate personnel.
- Track customer complaints, product damages, and inventory-related issues while maintaining accurate records.
- Communicate safety, quality, and operational concerns to appropriate departments and support shift handoffs.
- Train employees and prepare or update Standard Operating Procedures, Job Safety Analyses, and technical documentation.
- Support new technology implementations, process improvements, and product optimization initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and perform other duties as assigned.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two or more years of clerical experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and two or more years of experience using Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
- Experience managing multiple priorities, identifying process improvements, and working effectively in a team environment.
- Experience training employees, supporting inventory systems, and reading, writing, and comprehending English.
