Description
Our client is a leading aviation company with a global presence, specialising in the ownership, maintenance and management of commercial jet engines and aircraft.
They are looking to appoint an Asset Management Associate to support CFM56 engine and module activity at their Rome and Lisbon facilities. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role working closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, Finance, customers and MRO partners to ensure assets move efficiently through the repair and shop visit process.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as the on-site focal point for CFM56 engines and module repair activity.
- Coordinate Module Repair & Exchange (MRE) activity and track repairs through to completion.
- Manage engine/module status, locations, timelines and key milestones.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance and Production to resolve issues and keep activity on schedule.
- Monitor WIP, inspection findings, workscopes, costs and required approvals.
- Lead Material Review Boards and support cost-effective repair or exchange decisions.
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics and maintain accurate asset data.
- Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders and support process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience within aviation/MRO operations, customer support or asset management.
- Strong knowledge of CFM56 engines and module-level maintenance preferred.
- Experience working across Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance and Production.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good Excel and ERP experience; Quantum is preferred.
- Comfortable working with technical and financial documentation.
- Fluent Italian & English or Fluent Portuguese & English
