Digital and Technology Early Careers Program
The Digital and Technology Early Careers Program is a full-time, two-year accelerated development program for early-career professionals interested in building the technical, product, data, design, and business capabilities needed to succeed in an increasingly AI-native digital organization.
Rotations are intentionally structured to provide exposure to enterprise-scale technology, applied artificial intelligence, real-world business challenges, and cross-functional collaboration. Through these experiences, associates will build the capabilities needed to pursue long-term career opportunities within Pfizer's Digital organization.
The program is designed to develop AI-native talent who can combine strong foundational knowledge with applied experience. Associates will learn to use artificial intelligence, data, digital products, and modern technologies responsibly to solve problems, improve user experiences, and create measurable value for patients, customers, and colleagues.
As participants in an accelerated development program, associates are expected to build in-demand technical and professional capabilities while contributing to work that supports Pfizer's purpose: breakthroughs that change patients' lives.

What You Will Achieve
As an associate in the Digital and Technology Early Careers Program, you will be expected to demonstrate curiosity, learning agility, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous growth throughout the program.
Rotational assignments are project-based and aligned with organizational priorities, approved business needs, available roles, location requirements, manager capacity, and individual development goals.
Throughout the program, your experiences may include, but are not limited to:
- Building a broad understanding of Pfizer's Digital ecosystem while developing deeper capabilities within one or more priority role families
- Applying artificial intelligence, data, technology, product, or design knowledge to address real business, user, or patient needs
- Developing practical experience with the responsible use of artificial intelligence, including testing, security, data quality, risk awareness, and appropriate human oversight
- Strengthening problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and professional networking skills while preparing for potential long-term placement opportunities within Pfizer
How You Will Achieve It
Rotational assignments may align with one or more of the following priority role families. The responsibilities listed below are illustrative and may vary based on business needs, organizational priorities, and the scope of each assignment.
Full-Stack Engineering
Full-stack engineering rotations may include developing, testing, and supporting digital applications, platforms, integrations, and cloud-based solutions.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineering
Artificial intelligence and machine learning rotations may include preparing data, developing and evaluating AI-enabled solutions, and applying responsible AI practices throughout the solution lifecycle.
Product Analytics
Product analytics rotations may include using data, experimentation, and business insights to measure performance and inform digital product decisions.
Digital Product Marketing
Digital product marketing rotations may include understanding user needs, communicating product value, and supporting awareness, adoption, and engagement of digital capabilities.
Customer Experience Design
Customer experience design rotations may include researching user needs and designing accessible, intuitive, and human-centered digital experiences.
Program Exposure
Rotational opportunities may be available across multiple areas of Pfizer's Digital organization, depending on confirmed business needs, organizational priorities, and available assignments.
Current Digital areas include:
- R&D Creation Center and AI Center of Excellence
- Forward Impact, Portfolio, Digital Health and Medicine, and Customer Experience
- PGS Creation Center and SAP
- Information Security, Cloud, and Infrastructure
- Learning and Development, Product, Consumer Technology, and Enablement
- Commercial Creation Center and CDI (also known as C4)
Specific rotational assignments and long-term placement opportunities are not guaranteed. Assignments may be determined by organizational demand, associate capabilities, location requirements, manager capacity, and approved workforce plans.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Must have graduated by Spring 2027 with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and include the GPA on the résumé
- Must have no more than two years of continuous, full-time, post-graduate professional experience
- Must have participated in an eligible early-talent pipeline, which includes Pfizer Futures (2025/2026), a qualifying CDI internship, or a qualifying Digital Hackathon
- Must be available to begin full-time employment in July 2027
Priority Academic Backgrounds
Relevant majors and academic disciplines may include:
- Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning
- Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- Data Science or Data Analytics
- Information Systems and/or Information Security
- Bioinformatics
- User Experience Design, User Interface Design, or Human-Computer Interaction
- Related technical, quantitative, digital product, or design disciplines
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidates will demonstrate some combination of the following:
- Hands-on and project-based experience applying technical, analytical, product, design, engineering, data, or digital capabilities to real-world challenges
- Strong learning agility, curiosity, and a willingness to continuously develop new skills in a rapidly evolving digital and technology landscape
- The ability to collaborate effectively across functions, disciplines, and diverse teams to achieve shared objectives
- Experience translating technical concepts, data-driven insights, product solutions, or design outcomes into meaningful user, customer, patient, or business value
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A demonstrated understanding of the responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence, including validating outputs, protecting sensitive data, recognizing limitations and risks, maintaining appropriate human oversight, and exercising sound judgment when using AI-enabled tools

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $60,200.00 to $100,400.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
