Description
Title: Senior Software Engineer
Job Location: 1100 N Market St, Wilmington, DE 19801. Position requires in-office work four (4) days every week.
Job Description: Support day-to-day operations and incident resolution on TSYS-related platforms. Design, code, test, and implement enhancements and changes to mainframe applications. Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Perform impact analysis and provide estimates for development work. Participate in system integration and regression testing. Maintain and enhance batch and online processing environments. Create and maintain technical documentation. Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and internal standards. Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Systems Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or a related occupation.
Position requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following:
- VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method);
- COBOL;
- JCL;
- TSO/ISPF;
- Batch job scheduling including Control-M and CA7;
- DB2 or IMS databases;
- Using Mainframe software change management tools including Endevor, Changeman, or PanAPT;
- NDM/FTP/SFTP processes and data transmission protocols; and
- Troubleshoot abends and performance issues.
Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following:
- TSYS architecture and Credit Card platform components, including Prime, FDR, or other TSYS services;
- TSYS transaction processing modules;
- Navigating and extracting data from TSYS systems;
- TSYS file layouts, tables, and API integration;
- CICS (Customer Information Control System);
- Easytrieve for report generation and data analysis; and
- Working across a mix of legacy and modern tools including File Aid and LeanFT test automation.
Salary: $153,358.00 – $153,358.00 per year
