As a Corporate Real Estate Project & Facilities Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of capital improvement (CAPEX) projects while supporting day-to-day facility operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and service providers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with Hitachi Energy standards.
This role combines project delivery, facilities management, vendor oversight, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement to support business growth and operational excellence.
How you'll make an impact
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate real estate and CAPEX projects from initiation through completion.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor construction activities, project progress, quality, and compliance with contract requirements and company standards.
- Oversee contractor performance, project documentation, invoicing, reporting, and closeout activities.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support facility operations, maintenance programs, and service providers to ensure efficient building performance.
- Assist with facilities budgeting, operational planning, and implementation of integrated facilities management solutions.
- Support the maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general infrastructure.
- Promote sustainable and energy-efficient facility practices while maintaining a safe and secure working environment.

Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, facilities management, construction, corporate real estate, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience managing CAPEX, renovation, fit-out, or building improvement projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, contractor management, budgeting, and project controls.
- Understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using project management and facilities management tools and systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CFM, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Ability to work primarily on-site and collaborate effectively across functions.
