Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team at Msuez Uk. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our library resources, assisting students and faculty with research, and promoting a culture of reading and learning within the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the library's collection of books, journals, and other resources
• Organize and catalog materials using standard library classification systems
• Assist students and faculty with research and reference inquiries
• Provide instruction on how to use library resources and technology
• Create and implement library programs and activities to promote reading and learning
• Collaborate with faculty to incorporate library resources into curriculum
• Maintain the library's budget and make recommendations for new purchases
• Oversee the library's physical space and ensure it is clean, organized, and conducive to learning
• Train and supervise library assistants and student workers
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in library science
• Collaborate with other librarians and participate in professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
• Previous experience working in a library setting
• Knowledge of library classification systems and cataloging procedures
• Strong research and reference skills
• Familiarity with library technology and databases
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
