Contract Details:

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will be expected to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the airport.

Job Summary:

As a member of the airport ground staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the airport. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to passengers, assisting with the check-in process, managing baggage and cargo, and coordinating with other airport departments to ensure a seamless travel experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist passengers in a friendly and professional manner

- Check-in passengers and their luggage using airport computer systems

- Answer questions and provide information about flight schedules, delays, and other airport services

- Ensure compliance with airport security and safety regulations

- Coordinate with other airport departments, such as air traffic control and ground handling, to ensure on-time departures and arrivals

- Handle baggage and cargo, including loading and unloading from aircraft

- Assist with boarding procedures and provide support to passengers with special needs

- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all equipment is in good working condition

- Handle and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner

- Attend training and meetings as required to stay updated on airport policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the aviation industry

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects

- Knowledge of airport operations and regulations is a plus

- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of other languages is an asset

- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary security clearances
