About Our Family

We are a busy family settled into a historic home with a lot of character, and plenty of life happening in every corner. With young children, two small dogs, a flock of backyard chickens, and a new baby on the way, our days are full and our home is always in motion.

Mom is home full-time and deeply hands-on with the kids. Dad keeps long hours on weekdays. We recently moved into this home, which has been more of a project than anticipated, and we are actively working through contractor and organizational priorities while managing the beautiful chaos of young family life.

We have active mornings, a rotation of extracurricular activities, and a household that benefits from thoughtful systems and someone who can help us stay ahead of things. We love learning, doing, and figuring things out together. We value calm energy, follow-through, and someone who genuinely wants to be part of making our home run smoothly.

This is a household where initiative is welcomed when paired with good communication, and where the right person will feel like an essential part of the team.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You are grounded, calm, and quietly capable. You have a project management mindset and take pride in executing a list precisely and thoroughly. You ask before you act when it matters, and you communicate with clarity and follow-through.

You are tech-savvy and intellectually curious, with an eye for systems and a knack for keeping things organized. You are a strong communicator, both written and verbal. You are comfortable with animals, outdoor tasks and time with the children, and the kind of variety that comes with supporting a growing family in a large, active home. Comfortable working in a multi-level home and able to regularly lift and carry household items weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Most importantly, you show up consistently, follow through completely, and bring a steady presence to a home that deeply values it.
