Accounts Receivable Clerk
Department: Finance

Reporting To: Controller
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 / hour
Description
You Are:
- An experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk, ideally experienced in the Construction/Trades space. Good with people and comfortable collaborating with both internal teams and clients.
You Have:
- A detail-oriented approach to your work, a steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, and Hiqh EQ.
Your Location:
- In-Person for first 3 months, with potential for 1-2 days remote/week therafter
- 1097 Jupiter Park Ln Ste 3, Jupiter, FL 33458
Your Schedule:
- Full Time (40hrs/Wk)
- Mon-Fri from 8:00am to 5:00pm
Your Manager:
- Controller
Your Contribution to Definitive Electronics:
- Prepare and manage milestone/progress billing and AIA pay applications (G702/G703) for AV projects
- Own the AR process - post payments, reconcile accounts, and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Prepare lien waivers, NTOs, and compliance documentation
- Resolve billing discrepancies and client payment inquiries
- Generate AR reports and support month-end/year-end close, plus general admin support to ownership
Your Ideal Knowledge/Experience:
- +2yrs accounts receivable or construction billing
- Hands-on AIA billing experience (preparing, submitting, and following up on payment applications)
- Familiarity with milestone billing and understanding of schedules of values
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
