The Impact You Will Make
As a Project and Operations Manager, you will play a central role in supporting the launch of new university partnerships and programmes, ensuring complex cross-functional activity is planned, coordinated and delivered successfully. Initially, the role will be weighted towards project management: owning day-to-day project control from contract signature through go-live, maintaining the end-to-end plan, driving accountability across workstreams, and providing clear visibility of progress, risks, decisions and launch readiness.
As partnerships transition into business-as-usual delivery, the role will provide wider operational support to existing partners and new programmes. You will coordinate operational priorities, help resolve cross-functional issues and identify opportunities for improvement, maintain partner and programme reporting and documentation, and support the new programme process as needed. Working closely with Partnership Directors, Implementation Leads, internal functional teams, and university stakeholders, your work will strengthen launch success, partner confidence, informed decision-making and operational scalability.
How You Will Bring Our Mission to Life
What You Will Do:
- Project Manage Partner and Programme Launches
- Develop and maintain the end-to-end implementation plan for new partner and programme launches, covering milestones, dependencies, critical paths, readiness criteria and transition into business-as-usual operations.
- Supporting the Implementation Lead and Partnership Director, co-ordinate cross-functional delivery across Risepoint and university teams - ensure deliverables, owners, timelines and dependencies are clear and aligned.
- Maintain project controls, including project plans, RAID and decision logs, and provide clear visibility of project health, launch readiness, and areas requiring intervention.
- Proactively drive actions and resolve dependencies, escalating material risks or issues appropriately, and routing strategic or commercial matters to the Partnership Director.
- Coordinate launch documentation, readiness checkpoints, go-live planning, final approvals and handover into business-as-usual operations.
- Leverage technology, automation and AI-enabled tools where appropriate to improve project visibility, reporting, documentation and decision-making.
- Supporting Partner Operations
- Provide operational support for assigned partners after launch, working with the Partnership Director and functional teams to align on partner needs and coordinate deliverables to ensure high-quality execution.
- Produce and maintain regular partner and programme reporting and documentation covering partner status, operational metrics, recommendations and insights, and programme changes.
- Act as a central coordination point for cross-functional operational matters, clarifying ownership, connecting stakeholders and progressing issues through to resolution.
- Support portfolio and new programme scoping as needed, working with the Partnership Director.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and technology to automate and simplify the partner management process.
- Continuous Improvement
- Facilitate lessons-learned reviews after launches and significant operational changes, converting insights into improvements to future delivery.
- Promote consistent project and operational management practices across internal teams through practical guidance, templates, and knowledge sharing.
What Success Looks Like:
- New partner and programme launches are consistently launched on time and with high-quality clear plans, well-managed risks, and strong alignment across Risepoint and university teams.
- University partners feel supported and confident, with streamlined processes, clear communication, and practical recommendations that enable them to scale successful online programmes.
- Operational challenges are identified early and resolved effectively, and project execution continuously improves over time - lessons learned, best practices, and tools are applied to strengthen future launches and overall partner support.
How Impact Will be Measured:
- Successful management and delivery of assigned university partner launches, meeting agreed-upon timelines, quality standards, and readiness criteria.
- Successful management of new programme launches, co-ordinating with internal teams to meet agreed-upon timelines and quality standards
- Taken ownership of day-to-day project execution, with clear project plans, accurate status reporting, and predictable delivery against functional goals.
- Strong working relationships with internal Risepoint stakeholders and with university stakeholders, demonstrated by effective issue resolution, consistent communication, and partner confidence throughout.
- Project risks identified and mitigated, with minimal impact on project delivery timelines
- Build strong partner relationships and leverage insights to improve programme performance (e.g., enrollment, retention, or operational efficiency), contributing to partner growth and long-term success.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Experience That Matters Most:
