As a TSE Module Test Equipment Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., we are looking for an active and innovative team member who is responsible for the development, improvement, and qualification of new and existing equipment, hardware, software, and processes. You will work closely with key representatives from Manufacturing, Test, Process, Equipment, and other cross-functional teams to specify, develop, optimize, integrate, and qualify manufacturing systems. You will provide direction and assistance, both locally and internationally, to enable new technologies, reduce overall cost, improve yield, reliability, safety, equipment efficiency, and utilization, while driving product quality and continuous improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for aligning and enhancing manufacturing capability and performance, implementing global business processes, and leveraging worldwide resources to effectively deploy Best Known Methods (BKM). In addition, candidates are expected to demonstrate AI proficiency and adopt AI-enabled ways of working, where applicable, to improve productivity, accelerate problem-solving, enhance decision-making, automate routine tasks, and drive operational excellence across engineering and manufacturing processes. A continuous learning mindset toward emerging AI technologies is highly desirable.

## Responsibilities

• Responsible for Test TOR (Tool of Records) equipment sites' support, evaluation, solving and installation
• Fan out Best Known Method to all sites in TOR procedures, deficiencies and designs/implements improvements.
• Work closely with Key Equipment Group, Process Engineering and Site’s Equipment Maintenance team to develop and support new process/technology implementation.
• Work with vendors to address manufacturing issues of spares delivery, quality, performance and organizational change.
• Lead and coordinate priorities and activities to accomplish project tasks in your area(s) of responsibility.
• Balance priorities and enhancements to improve business processes and existing systems that are global.
• Supervise process efficiency and equipment OEE, find opportunities for improvements.
• Track metrics for benchmarking Performance. Identify and share BKMs across sites and track compliance to align.
• Supports TOR Equipment OS (Operating Software) and software release.
• Supports evaluation on NPI, new technologies and equipment to improve current toolsets and methods.
• Responsible for conducting and mentoring site equipment owners to take up a new project in Copy Smart Team (CST). Eventually enabling the CST member to play an active roles and responsibilities
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and area materials safety concerns in the area of focus and address issues with equipment and materials vendors
• Having positive attitudes, independent and determined in projects/tasks assigned.
• Occasionally need to travel to support relevant projects/deployment.

Education, Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience in test equipment engineering, equipment integration, semiconductor manufacturing, automation, equipment development, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in equipment qualification, troubleshooting, process optimization, yield improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment and process-related issues.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and global teams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, automation, equipment qualification, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn new technologies and engineering practices.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools, digital solutions, and data-driven decision-making is advantageous.
