About the Role
We are looking for a Tech Lead who is a strong hands-on engineer, an effective technical leader, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment.

What You'll Do

• Make sound decisions around architecture, system design, scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability. 
• Remain deeply hands-on with the codebase and contribute to critical product initiatives. 
• Take ownership of technically challenging and business-critical projects. 
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and help them grow technically. 
• Take end-to-end ownership of projects from requirement understanding through design, development, deployment, and monitoring. 
• Build systems and processes from the ground up rather than relying on established enterprise processes. 
• Be comfortable wearing multiple hats and solving problems beyond a defined job description.

Must Have

• 6–8 years of software engineering experience, with significant hands-on development experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a technical leadership capacity.
• Strong understanding of DSA, OOP, databases, APIs, distributed systems, system design, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Strong hands-on experience building and shipping production-grade applications.
• Proven experience owning architecture and technical decisions for products or large engineering initiatives.
• Strong experience with backend and frontend development, with the ability to understand and contribute across the stack.
• Strong understanding of engineering quality, testing, security, scalability, and performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong startup experience or demonstrated ability to operate in a startup-like environment.
