The Role
Our Crestmead dairy site near Logan, south of Brisbane, manufactures and distributes a range of milk and milk-based products, made with fresh milk sourced direct from 35 dairy farms in the south-east Queensland region. Producing around 100 million litres of product per year!
We are seeking a QSE Coordinator to lead and coordinate Quality, Food Safety and Environmental systems at our Crestmead site. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring products are safe, compliant and meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Lead and maintain QSE management systems, ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, allergen management and traceability requirements.
Coordinate internal, customer and regulatory audits, manage non-conformances, and drive effective corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor environmental performance, maintain compliance documentation, and support sustainability initiatives that reduce waste and resource consumption.
Collaborative across functional teams to embed continuous improvement, standard work practices and right-first-time quality outcomes.
Deliver training, support product trials and validations, and ensure ongoing compliance with food safety and regulatory requirement.
About you
Previous experience in FMCG manufacturing is preferred
Demonstrated understanding of BRC or relevant customer and regulatory standards.
Internal Auditor and HACCP certifications
Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across teams
Time management and problem-solving capabilities, with a continuous improvement mindset
