Job Description

As a Security Officer Lobby Patrol Control Access in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in required reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
