Description
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a global, leading engineering manufacturer.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical service, repair, maintenance and installations for compressed air equipment including compressors, blowers , dryers, nitrogen generators, air filtration and associated products at customer sites throughout the Netherlands. Full product training will be provided.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a field service background within electrical or mechanical engineering, working with equipment such as compressors, filtration systems, HVAC, refrigeration, pneumatics, hydraulics, vacuum systems, pumps, industrial motors, medical gas, or other electro-mechanical equipment.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Role
- Service, repair and maintain compressed air equipment including compressors, dryers, filtration and vacuum systems.
- Carry out preventative maintenance, fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown repairs for the compressed air systems at customer sites across Netherlands.
- Install and commission compressed air and pneumatic equipment across industrial and manufacturing environments.
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide technical support on-site.
- Full remote covering Netherlands reporting to the site near Leiden weekly.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Requirements
- Electrical and/or mechanical engineering background with strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Compressor Engineer or similar within electromechanical products.
- Background working with electromechanical products such as industrial equipment, compressors, HVAC, refrigeration, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, medical gas, vacuum systems or similar.
- Knowledge of three-phase electrics, controls and electromechanical systems advantageous.
- Customer-focused, able to work independently, with a full driving licence and willingness to travel across Netherlands
- Commutable to the site near Leiden atleast once a week for training and team meetings.
