Description

Job Description Summary

Own the global training curriculum and capability maturity strategy for digital systems across Gas Power Global Supply Chain, spanning ERP, MES, quality, and maintenance systems. This role ensures that every planner, buyer, production controller, operator, and technician who touches a digital system is trained on the current global standard, not a local interpretation of it. Develops and maintains the global training library, defines the capability maturity framework used to assess and progress site-level expertise, and partners directly with LPDAs and Site Training Leaders to deliver training consistently and coach capability development across all sites.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Global Training Curriculum & Content Ownership

  • Own and maintain the global training curriculum for digital systems across ERP, MES, quality, and maintenance: role-based training programs, transaction guides, process overviews, and job aids aligned to current global standards, as defined by the relevant Global Process Digital Authorities.
  • Partner with GPDAs to ensure training content reflects the current approved process and system standard; every standard update triggers a training content review and refresh.
  • Develop and maintain training content for workflows that span multiple systems, ensuring training reflects the integrated process rather than each system in isolation.
  • Establish and own the global training content governance process: version control, update triggers, review cycles, and retirement of outdated materials.

Capability Maturity & LPDA / Site Training Leader Coaching

  • Define and maintain a digital systems capability maturity framework spanning ERP, MES, quality, and maintenance systems, establishing clear stages of proficiency for site-level teams and providing a consistent way to assess, benchmark, and track digital systems expertise across the network.
  • Coach and develop the global network of LPDAs and Site Training Leaders: build their proficiency on current standards, the business rationale behind them, and how to deliver training and support effectively at the local level.
  • Design and deliver structured onboarding programs for new LPDAs and Site Training Leaders joining the network, ensuring they are functional on the global standard before taking on local training responsibilities.
  • Partner with functional leaders and GPDAs to identify capability gaps across the network and design targeted interventions that close them without requiring full retraining programs.

Deployment Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Support ERP, MES, and other digital system deployments with structured training programs: needs assessments, curriculum mapping, delivery planning, and post-go-live reinforcement that sustains capability through the transition period.
  • Partner with the Digital Change Enablement Leader to align training delivery with the broader change enablement strategy for each deployment.
  • Track training completion, capability maturity progression, and post-deployment proficiency indicators across sites; surface gaps to the relevant GPDA or LPDA and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain and evolve the global training content library and maturity framework as standards, systems, and business processes evolve over time.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Education, or a related field.
  • 7+ years in ERP training, functional configuration, or supply chain operations in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Deep hands-on proficiency with SAP across materials management, production planning, and related supply chain modules, able to demonstrate transactions and explain the business logic behind them.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering training programs for diverse user populations in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
  • Experience coaching and developing site-level key users, super users, or training leaders in a global organization.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills; able to explain complex system logic in plain language for frontline users and in business terms for functional leaders.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience supporting ERP, MES, quality, or maintenance system deployments in a functional training or change enablement capacity.
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles and digital learning tools for developing scalable training content.
  • Experience designing or applying capability maturity models in a manufacturing or operations context.
  • Background in lean or continuous improvement; understands how training quality connects to operational performance and standard work adherence.
  • Comfortable operating in a role where the curriculum and maturity model are always evolving alongside the standards they support.
