Role summary
Join our collaborative sales team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute as an Account Manager. You will increase revenue and build lasting relationships with customers while representing our comprehensive portfolio of scientific products and services. Working in a supportive environment that values achievement and innovation, you'll help enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will develop and implement strategic sales plans, manage key account relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction through consultative selling.
- You'll work with cross-functional teams to provide tailored solutions that meet customer needs while achieving sales targets.
- Through a combination of customer visits and virtual engagement, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to help customers advance their scientific goals.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline
A minimum of few years hands-on relevant sales experience
Experience with CT or electron microscopy (EM) image analysis software, electron microscopy, or related scientific imaging technologies is strongly preferred
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex customer applications, imaging workflows, and business needs and translate them into appropriate solutions
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth within an assigned territory or customer portfolio
Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and maintain strong customer relationships across all organizational levels, including technical users, decision-makers, and senior stakeholders
Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate value propositions to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities, including territory planning, opportunity management, pipeline development, and sales forecasting
Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365, and the Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in a global, matrixed environment
Results-oriented and customer-focused, with strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel approximately 25–30% within the assigned territory
Fluency in English required; additional language skills are considered an advantage
