Job Description
This role sits within the Cards & Payments Product team and is primarily responsible for the end-to-end management of CreditSure Plus (CSP) and General Insurance (GI) product portfolio. The incumbent will drive product performance, oversee day-to-day operations, and lead strategic initiatives to grow insurance penetration and revenue across bank channels.
In addition to insurance responsibilities, the incumbent will support the management and growth of strategic ecosystem partnerships, focusing on strengthening relationships and maximising partnership opportunities.
The role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including insurers, distribution teams, marketing, finance, compliance and ecosystem partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Management & Performance
- Manage end-to-end product lifecycle for CreditSure Plus and GI portfolio
- Drive key metrics such as penetration, revenue, persistency and customer acquisition
- Monitor product performance through regular reporting and implement strategies to optimise growth
- Business & Revenue Management
- Deliver revenue targets across CSP and GI products via online channels
- Develop and execute acquisition, engagement and retention strategies
- Manage campaign planning, A&P budgets, and marketing initiatives (eDM, digital and on-platform campaigns)
- Product Development & Enhancement
- Identify and implement product enhancements, refreshes and new product launches
- Work with insurers to review product features, pricing and competitiveness
- Prepare approval papers (e.g. product addendums) and obtain necessary governance approvals
- Operations & Process Management
- Oversee BAU processes including reporting, billing, invoicing, reconciliation and claims-related workflows
- Ensure smooth customer journeys across enrolment, servicing, waiver and cancellation processes
- Drive process improvements and automation to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience
- Strategic Partnership Management
- Support the management and growth of strategic partnerships with key ecosystem players
- Identify opportunities to expand distribution through embedded finance and platform integrations
- Work with partners to conceptualise and execute joint campaigns and initiatives to drive acquisition
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and alignment with overall business objectives
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Analytics, Contact Centre, Finance, Compliance and Technology teams
- Work closely with insurers and ecosystem partners to align on product strategy, campaigns and operational processes
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in product management or marketing, preferably within banking, insurance or financial services
- A good understanding of life and general insurance products, with experience in digital distribution channels would be an advantage
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end product lifecycle, including product development, campaign execution and performance optimisation
- Experience in partnership or ecosystem management is advantageous
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, derive insights and drive data-driven decisions
- Good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the financial services industry
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to work across multiple teams and senior stakeholders
- Self-driven, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
