Marketing Specialist - Verticals & Integrated Marketing Communications

We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Marketing Specialist to support our verticalization marketing strategy and integrated marketing communications initiatives across multiple key vertical segments. With a primary focus on our Military & Government (M&G) vertical, you may also support Health Science and Global  Multinational (GMN) client segments.

In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns and creative assets tailored to each vertical's unique strategy. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive engagement, coordinate campaign execution, and support the development of comprehensive marketing roadmaps. What You'll Do:

• Verticalization Strategy & Roadmap Development: Support the development and refinement of marketing roadmaps and integrated marketing communication plans across assigned vertical segments, with primary emphasis on Military & Government. 

• Creative Asset Coordination: Liaise with internal creative teams and external agencies to conceptualize, develop, and coordinate the creation of marketing assets and campaign materials aligned with each vertical's objective and audience. 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate marketing support and initiatives across multiple stakeholders including commercial leaders, internal/external communications, brand teams, creative agencies, web and performance marketing, and meetings and events. 

• Campaign Management: Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing integrated marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences across all assigned verticals and align with vertical segment goals. 

• Project Coordination: Manage timelines, deliverables, and communications to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives. 

• Stakeholder Management: Serve as a liaison between marketing and various internal and external partners to ensure alignment and successful campaign delivery. 

• Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all marketing materials and communications adhere to relevant guidelines and best practices, particularly for Military and Government audiences. 

What We're Looking For:

• U.S. Citizenship and U.S. Residency required 

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field 

• 2-4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field 

• Strong project management and organizational skills 

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint required) 

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience with Workfront or similar project management tools 

• Experience in B2B marketing or verticalized marketing strategies 

• Prior experience marketing to Military, Government, Health Science, or corporate audiences 

• Familiarity with travel, financial services, or corporate solutions industries 

• Experience coordinating with external agencies and creative teams 

• Knowledge of integrated marketing communications best practices 

• Understanding of government contracting or military procurement processes

The US national base salary range for this position is from 

$72,100.00 - $133,900.00

The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role.  Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
