STATEMENT OF THE JOB:
Responsible for the maintenance and functionality of Gryphon Place Administration & Training Center and Direct Service Center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform manual repairs and maintenance when necessary: Fix locks, doors, windows, painting, etc.
- Perform fundamentals of construction – frame and drywall repair
- Conduct general grounds upkeep & cleaning – Lawn maintenance, snow removal and landscaping
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems - Replace light bulbs, sockets, fixtures clean and repair circuit breaker panels.
- Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
- Be able to move and or organize various items from within and without a building location.
- Perform preventive maintenance task and duties
- Be able to work with computers, tablets and smart phones
- Responsible for transporting and setting up for Gryphon Place major events
- Responsible for setting up training rooms for internal and external trainings
- Manage and coordinate work orders to assure completion
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Key Competencies:
- Computer Skills – Beginner-level Excel and Word
- Problem solving
- Organized
Education Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Other Qualifications:
- Good driving record
- Two years of prior experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a relevant field.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Maintenance Technician will be required to stand, walk, sit, and squat for extended periods of time depending on the project.
Lifting of up to 50lbs may be required without assistance.
