Description
A certified trusted leader in industrial water services, our client is searching for a highly organized, proactive problem solver to join their team as a Branch Admin located in Maricopa County. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives at the center of a fast-paced operation, enjoys keeping people and priorities moving, and naturally thinks a few steps ahead.
As a Branch Administrator, you’ll become the right hand to the local Manager, supporting the administrative and operational backbone of the branch across purchasing, receiving, inventory, customer service, scheduling, project coordination, and day-to-day branch activity. You’ll work closely with field technicians, drivers, customers, and leadership, helping ensure the right materials are available, commitments are followed through, and the branch stays organized and running efficiently.
Success here requires more than strong administrative skills. The right person is confident, highly detail oriented, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable taking ownership in an environment where every answer may not already be written down. You know how to influence without relying on a title, respectfully push back when something needs attention, and build trust with a wide range of personalities. If you have experience supporting or leading operations within a commercial or industrial branch, service organization, supply house, warehouse, or similar fast-paced environment, this could be an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact and grow into broader branch leadership.
What You’ll Do as a Branch Admin
- Serve as a key operational partner to the Branch Manager, helping coordinate day-to-day branch priorities and keeping people, projects, and customer needs moving forward.
- Manage purchasing, receiving, and inventory activities, helping minimize material shortages and ensure jobs are accurately staged and supported.
- Coordinate schedules, projects, and materials across field technicians, drivers, customers, and internal teams.
- Support industrial customers directly with scheduling, service updates, and other needs, providing responsive and professional follow-through.
- Take ownership across the branch, identifying and resolving issues, building strong working relationships, and using sound judgment and influence to drive accountability.
What You Bring
- A proactive, self-directed mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, anticipate needs, take initiative, and confidently figure out the path forward.
- High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and the confidence to navigate different personalities, build trust, influence others, and respectfully drive accountability.
- Previous supervisory, management or senior operational support experience within a fast-paced commercial or industrial environment, with backgrounds in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, industrial supply, parts distribution, or commercial field service especially relevant.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills with the ability to keep multiple priorities moving without losing track of details.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with experience working directly with commercial or business customers.
- Comfort working with MS Office and inventory, ERP, order management, customer service, or similar business software.
- Willingness to work fully on-site.
Our client provides an excellent compensation package including a salary range of $80K-$100K, plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k), profit sharing, health benefits, and employee/family appreciation days.
