Job Description
Essential Job Functions
**Industrial, or heavy truck markets
- Serves as the voice of the customer by communicating customer needs, priorities, and concerns internally and escalating issues to the appropriate cross-functional teams for timely resolution.
- Owns and manages strategic customer accounts.
- Develops and executes account strategies to grow revenue and profitability.
- Leads quotation strategy and commercial negotiations.
- Presents complex commercial and technical proposals to customer leadership.
- Leads cross‑functional teams supporting customer programs and launches.
- Oversees program lifecycle management and escalation resolution.
- Supports forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning.
- Mentors Account Managers and Inside Sales Specialists.
- Documents opportunities in the CSP account planning tool and regularly tracks and reports progress, activity, and outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive account management or sales experience.
- Demonstrated success managing complex or strategic customer accounts.
- Strong understanding of OEM and Tier 1 sourcing and product development cycles.
- Advanced negotiation and commercial strategy experience.
- Executive‑level communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel to customer and company locations up to 25%.
