Description
Ready to accelerate your career?
Cardata is where driven people make an outsized impact. We’re a small but mighty team transforming how businesses manage vehicle reimbursement — replacing outdated programs with smart, automated solutions.
Our vision is bold: to provide the most comprehensive, intelligent, and automated software and services for creating ideal vehicle programs. And we’re building toward that vision every single day.
Join us and you’ll find challenge, growth, and the chance to deliver real impact — helping hundreds of companies and thousands of drivers across North America focus on the work that matters most to them.
We're looking for a Senior Field Marketing Manager to own and evolve Cardata's field marketing strategy across events, webinars, industry associations, and strategic partnerships.
You'll be responsible for turning field marketing investments into measurable business outcomes, from determining where we should show up and managing budgets to executing programs that create and progress pipeline. You'll work closely with Sales to develop programs around our highest-priority markets and segments, ensuring every investment has a clear audience, purpose, and path to revenue.
A key part of this role will also be strengthening Cardata's presence in the markets and communities where our buyers spend their time. You'll build relationships with industry associations, proactively source speaking engagements and partnership opportunities, and identify new ways for Cardata to participate in relevant industry conversations and increase our visibility within our market.
This is a role for someone who can both set direction and execute. You'll be expected to independently assess opportunities, make recommendations about where we invest, and continuously optimize our field marketing mix based on pipeline performance, market opportunity, and strategic value.
Success in this role is measured not simply by the number of events or programs delivered, but by their contribution to pipeline, the quality of our market presence, and how effectively budget is deployed toward the programs and partnerships that create the greatest impact.
If you're energized by building relationships, creating high-impact programs, finding new opportunities, and taking accountability for how field marketing contributes to growth, you'll thrive in this role.
What You'll Do
- Develop and own Cardata's field marketing plan across conferences, trade shows, hosted events, webinars, association programs, and other field marketing initiatives across North America
- Own end-to-end event strategy and execution, including opportunity selection, sponsorships, logistics, booth experiences, speaking opportunities, pre-event demand generation, attendee engagement, Sales coordination, and post-event follow-up
- Partner closely with Sales leadership to identify priority markets, accounts, and audiences and translate those priorities into targeted field programs
- Establish pipeline targets and success criteria for programs and hold programs accountable to measurable outcomes, including meetings, sourced pipeline, influenced pipeline, and pipeline progression
- Build and manage an active pipeline of industry partnerships, speaking engagements, association opportunities, sponsorships, and other programs that increase Cardata's visibility with target buyers
- Develop strong relationships with industry associations, event organizers, partners, and other stakeholders, keeping Cardata top of mind for speaking, sponsorship, thought leadership, and partnership opportunities
- Proactively identify and secure opportunities for Cardata leaders, customers, and subject matter experts to participate in panels, presentations, webinars, industry discussions, and other high-value forums
- Identify new opportunities for Cardata to create visibility and make an impact in the market, evaluating each against our ICP, strategic priorities, pipeline potential, and required investment
- Partner with internal leaders to identify compelling topics, speakers, customer stories, and points of view that Cardata can bring to industry conversations
- Own and evolve Cardata's webinar strategy, identifying topics and formats that support demand generation and thought leadership while overseeing promotion, execution, and follow-up
- Ensure Cardata shows up consistently and professionally across every conference, association, webinar, and industry program we participate in
- Own the field marketing budget with strong financial discipline, maintaining accurate forecasts, tracking spend against plan, negotiating with vendors and partners, and proactively reallocating investment toward higher-performing opportunities.
- Regularly evaluate the field marketing portfolio to determine where Cardata should increase investment, maintain presence, experiment, or pull back based on performance
- Develop scalable processes and best practices for event planning, lead capture, attribution, Sales follow-up, budget management, and reporting
What You'll Bring
- 5–7 years of experience in Field Marketing or Event Marketing, with demonstrated ownership of field marketing strategy and execution
- Proven experience building and executing B2B field marketing programs that contribute to pipeline and revenue goals
- Strong commercial orientation with the ability to connect marketing programs and investments to pipeline creation, progression, and business outcomes
- Experience owning a meaningful marketing budget, forecasting spend, evaluating ROI, and making recommendations about where to increase or reduce investment
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to develop productive relationships with industry partners, associations, vendors, executives, customers, and other external stakeholders
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities—you don't just execute what's already on the calendar; you actively look for new ways to reach our audience and strengthen Cardata's presence in the market
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs, deadlines, budgets, vendors, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Ability to legally travel to the United States on a regular basis and flexibility to travel throughout North America as required for events and industry programs
Bonus Points For:
- Experience in B2B SaaS or high-growth technology companies
- Experience marketing to Finance, HR, Operations, Fleet, or other business decision makers
- Experience developing and managing relationships with industry associations
- Experience sourcing and securing speaking engagements, panels, thought leadership opportunities, or executive visibility programs
- Experience using HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms to measure field marketing performance
