Permanent | Full Time | 37 hours per week
Working Pattern: 5 days over 7, with shifts between 6am and 7pm

About the Role
86 Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join their professional kitchen team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a chef looking to continue their career in hospitality while enjoying a more structured working pattern and an excellent range of benefits.
You’ll play an important role in preparing and presenting high-quality food using fresh, seasonal ingredients across a busy and varied catering operation.
The role would suit someone who is passionate about food, takes pride in their work and enjoys working as part of a professional team.
Working 37 hours per week, 5 days over 7, shifts are generally between 7.00am and 7.00pm, with only occasional functions. There are no split shifts, and the two-week Christmas and New Year shutdown means you can enjoy the festive period with family and friends.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality catering service to customers, staff and guests
- Take responsibility for your designated kitchen section and ensure it is fully prepared for service
- Cook and produce high-quality dishes using fresh ingredients and provided recipes
- Maintain consistently high standards of food presentation
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly
- Ensure food is stored, labelled and rotated appropriately
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards at all times
- Work effectively as part of a busy and professional kitchen team
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent catering qualification
- Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
- Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen
- A genuine passion for producing high-quality food
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A positive, professional and reliable approach to work
