Location:  Sparks, NV 

Job Type: Full-Time 

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience 

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00am – 2:30pm 

Lawson Drayage is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our Nevada Division. This position is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, tracking, and preparing customers' equipment and materials for shipment. 

What We're Looking For: Someone who is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with both physical warehouse work and basic inventory documentation.

 Key Responsibilities 

• Receive and inspect incoming equipment and materials. 
• Unload and move incoming items into designated warehouse locations. 
• Organize and maintain inventory throughout the warehouse. 
• Tag and track incoming and outgoing equipment and materials. 
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation. 
• Prepare equipment and materials for outgoing shipments and upcoming jobs. 
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments. 
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely. 
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse work areas. 
• Communicate with team members regarding inventory, shipments, and material locations. 
• Follow company safety procedures. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical warehouse work. 
• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records. 
• Ability to read and follow instructions. 
• Strong organizational and communication skills. 
• Dependable and detail-oriented. 
• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of the team. 
• Willingness to learn Lawson's warehouse processes and systems. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Previous warehouse, logistics, inventory, shipping, or receiving experience. 
• Forklift experience and/or ability to become forklift certified. 
• Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems. 
• Experience with shipping and receiving documentation. 

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. 
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. 
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, squat, and reach. 
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment. 
• Ability to perform an active, hands-on warehouse role requiring frequent movement. 

Compensation & Benefits 

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience
