You will combine deep technical expertise with sound judgement, trusted client relationships and a commitment to developing others, helping clients address important challenges and achieve lasting outcomes.

  • Own technical delivery across the implementation lifecycle, including solution design, AL development, extensions, integrations, data migration, testing, deployment and post-implementation support.

  • Experience designing and delivering integrations using Business Central APIs, web services and appropriate Azure or Microsoft Power Platform services, together with a sound understanding of authentication, security and integration monitoring.

  • Establish and promote technical standards for architecture, coding, source control, documentation, build and release management, automated testing and quality assurance.

  • Review solution designs and code, resolve complex technical issues and ensure that deliverables meet agreed quality, performance, security and maintainability expectations.

  • Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, client stakeholders and other specialists to plan technical work, estimate effort, manage dependencies and align delivery priorities.

  • Identify technical risks, constraints and blockers early, communicate their potential impact clearly and guide the team towards practical resolutions.

  • Coach and support developers through constructive feedback, knowledge sharing and hands-on technical guidance, fostering an inclusive environment where people can contribute and grow.

  • Contribute to proposals, estimates, solution demonstrations and the continuous development of our D365 Business Central methods, assets and market offering.

About You

We welcome applications from people with different backgrounds, experiences and career paths. You may be a good fit for this role if you bring:

  • A university degree, equivalent qualification or relevant practical experience.

  • At least five years of hands-on experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions, with responsibility for leading technical workstreams or implementations.

  • Strong experience across the Business Central implementation lifecycle, from technical discovery and architecture through development, testing, deployment and support.

  • Advanced knowledge of AL development, extension-based architecture and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Online, including the design of scalable, upgrade-safe solutions within the wider Microsoft ecosystem.

  • Establish and govern development and DevOps practices, including source control, branching strategies, automated build and deployment pipelines, environment management, automated testing, peer review and release controls and, deliver required documentations.

  • The ability to assess complex requirements, make well-reasoned technical decisions and communicate direction clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience estimating and planning technical work, managing priorities and dependencies, and taking ownership of delivery quality and deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to build positive relationships and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

  • Experience coaching, mentoring or reviewing the work of developers in a supportive and constructive way.

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 or related Microsoft certifications, and experience in a consulting or client-facing environment, would be advantageous but are not essential.
