Hexcel is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Casablanca, Morocco location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

• Provide day-to-day engineering support to production operations to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality, and on-time manufacturing performance.
• Act as an EHS role model by promoting a proactive safety culture, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, tooling, and production methods to improve productivity and product quality.
• Lead troubleshooting activities by performing root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and driving sustainable problem resolution.
• Manage the introduction of new products, programs, and work packages, coordinating with global engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and design changes to ensure manufacturability, compliance, and successful implementation in production.
• Maintain accurate ERP data, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, process plans, and manufacturing documentation.
• Support cost reduction initiatives through process optimization, standard cost evaluations, waste elimination, and the application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional projects focused on continuous improvement, operational excellence, quality enhancement, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical support during customer visits, audits, and qualification activities while ensuring compliance with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, automotive, or engineering environment.
• Experience in process development, production support, continuous improvement, and project management.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification is considered an asset.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing planning tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and engineering software tools.
• Fluent in English and French.
