A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Performance and Optimisation Engineer - Wireless reporting to Senior Manager - Fixed Wireless Performance.
A bit about your role
As a Senior Performance & Optimisation Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing the performance, reliability, and customer experience of nbn’s Fixed Wireless network. Working across engineering, operations, product, customer experience, and vendor teams, you will use data, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to identify optimisation opportunities, improve network efficiency, and support informed investment decisions. The role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking, driving initiatives that strengthen network performance, enable proactive and predictive operations, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of nbn’s Fixed Wireless services.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, passionate about technology, and brings experience within the telecommunications industry, with a strong background in wireless access and backhaul capacity management and network performance. They are a collaborative and influential communicator who can translate complex technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders. With expertise in wireless technologies, network optimisation, data analysis, process improvement, and business intelligence tools, they thrive in dynamic environments, work effectively across teams, and deliver customer-focused outcomes through analytical thinking, sound judgement, and a big-picture perspective.
