Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Roving Patrol in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and badge processes. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing operations, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established procedures.
• Support a professional workplace environment by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related policy violations to appropriate site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
