- Banking Digital Platform Optimization: Drive the adoption and continuous refinement of digitized documentation processes to minimize transaction turnaround times and lower SLA times.
- Capital Repatriation Planning: Architect and execute structured cash repatriation plans for regional entities operating in highly restricted foreign exchange environments, maximizing fund movements while ensuring 100% compliance with local statutory limitations.
- FX Liquidity & Market Monitoring: Monitor macroeconomic indicators, currency fluctuations, and liquidity trends across key MEA markets.
- Mandatory Paper-Based Administration: Direct the physical wet signature processes required by local laws across the region for bank setups, KYC reviews, and signatory updates.
- System Integration Projects: Support strategic local implementation projects.
Education & Professional Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field. Professional treasury certifications (e.g., ACT, CTP) are a major advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 to 6 years of progressive corporate treasury, cash management, or transaction banking experience, with a proven track record of managing operations within Egypt and the broader MEA region.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, manage bank relationships, and informally supervise, guide, or train junior professionals.
Technical & Functional Skills
- ERP & Systems: Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and cash forecasting platforms.
- Banking Portals: Advanced, administrative-level operational knowledge of corporate banking platforms.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of CBE (Central Bank of Egypt) foreign exchange guidelines and cross-border payment compliance.
- Trade Finance: Solid understanding of Letters of Credit (LCs), Letters of Guarantee (LGs), and local import clearance workflows (FM4/IDC).
Key Behavioral Competencies
- The Five Principles: Absolute alignment with Mars' Five Principles (Quality, Responsibility, Mutuality, Efficiency, Freedom).
- Resilience & Conflict Resolution: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully trace and resolve complex supplier, commercial, and banking escalations.
- Rigorous Control Focus: A strong internal control mindset.
- Collaborative Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to influence partner teams and build strategic relationships with external banks.
