About the role:

Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis (Pastry) to join our talented culinary team. In this role, you will support the preparation and presentation of exceptional pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods while maintaining the highest standards of quality, creativity, and consistency. This position reports to the Pastry Chef.

A Maldivian work permit will be provided by the resort.

What you will do:

• Clean and prep raw ingredients.
• Prepare mise-en-place, bases, and sauces.
• Assist line cooks and receive hands-on training.
• Maintain high food hygiene, safety standards, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Complete Safe Step Training certification.
• Follow the resort's code of conduct, grooming, and hygiene standards.
• Participate in team briefings and meetings.
• Keep the work area clean and promote a safe work environment.
• Ensure correct use of kitchen equipment and follow standard recipes.
• Support timely food service and accommodate guest preferences.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• Strong English, math, and psychometric skills.
• Technical education in Hospitality is preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Personal flair and finesse

Schedule & Hours:

• This is a full time position
• 48 hours a week with one day off
