Job Description

We are looking for dynamic and details oriented Finance Controller who will be responsible for managing all day‑to‑day accounting operations and month end close. The role will ensure audit-ready financials while building strong processes and internal controls in fast-growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting & Controlling

• Manage month‑end close, reconciliations, general ledger accuracy, and financial reporting.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll coordination, cash flow monitoring, and working capital management.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and local statutory requirements where applicable.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and management reports to support decision‑making.

Audit, Controls & Compliance

• Develop and document financial policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures.
• Coordinate internal and external audit readiness and ensure timely completion. Oversee tax compliance, VAT/GST filings, and regulatory reporting.

Tech‑Savvy / Digital Finance Responsibilities

• Identify and implement automation opportunities across accounting workflows.
• Support or lead finance transformation initiatives, including ERP upgrades and specialized systems implementation.
• Maintain and optimize financial systems, ensuring data integrity and scalable processes.
• Own accounting processes and drive improvements/automation

What we are looking For :

Core/Must-Have skills :

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or ACCA with strong academic background in accounting and finance.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance controllership, financial reporting and compliance.
• Strong understanding of IFRS (preferred) and/or Ind AS and financial reporting standards along with hands on experience in audits, taxation and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to handle large datasets efficiently
• Financials modelling and structured workbook design 
• Exposure to ERP systems (such as Workday, SAP, Oracle or similar platforms)

Advanced/Good-to-Have skills :

• Power Query (data extraction, transformation, automation)
• Power Platform, Power BI, , Power Automate, Power App (data modeling relationships, DAX basics)
• Macros/VBA for process automation
