For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- 5 years of experience as a DevOps System Engineer
- Proficiency in both Windows and Unix/Linux environments is required, with the ability to manage, configure, and troubleshoot systems across both platforms in a production context.
- Scripting skills in Shell (KSH) and PowerShell are required to develop and maintain automation scripts for system operations, deployment, and incident response tasks.
- Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS is required, with the ability to coordinate with database teams during application deployments, incident resolution, and environment changes.
- Exposure to Python scripting and Micro Focus CSA (HCM) is a plus, supporting automation initiatives and cloud service automation within the infrastructure production scope.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as the role involves drafting operational procedures, coordinating cross-functional technical changes, and participating in an on-call rotation covering extended hours.
- Availability for an on-call systems
- Fluency in English (B2)
- Availability for Hybrid model 2 times a week based in Porto
- Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
