The Graphic Designer is responsible for updating and realigning/redesigning existing print and digital materials to conform to QBE’s newly refined brand ID. This role involves working closely with the Group and Divisional design teams to ensure that all materials, including templates, are consistent with the new brand guidelines and of a high quality. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong graphic design skills, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Key Responsibilities

• Update and realign existing print and digital publications, including brochures, reports, newsletters, posters, and advertisements, to adhere to the new brand guidelines. Longer-term the designer will also work on briefs for new assets from around the globe.
• Ensure all updated materials are consistent with QBE’s new brand guidelines
• Prepare and finalise files for print and digital distribution
• Maintain and organise digital assets and project files
• Assist with the development and implementation of updated templates for recurring publications eg MS Word, PowerPoint
• Review final layouts for accuracy and quality
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in desktop publishing and graphic design.

Requirements

1. Education and Experience

• • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in graphic design.

2. Technical Skills

• • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) with skills in template creation and editing.
  • Understanding of prepress and print production processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of digital publishing formats (interactive PDFs, e-books, or web graphics).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, and colour theory.
